Methodology

DEVOTION. God is the main source of our strength. We give time for Him before anything else to ensure the success of our project. We spend at least 10-20 minutes on devoting ourselves and our activities to Him.

COCONUT TEAM COMPOSITION. It was very easy for the team to select certain personnels within the school community. Each selected member of the school Media Station (KCA - Media Station) was automatically the representative for the competition. All of the members are capable of writing. In this group, all of our KCA TV personalities were already selected for our first entry Doon Po Sa Amin Pito Ang Lawa. Our club adviser (Sir Leandro Bondad) chose the radio speakers to expose themselves in front of camera ecept for Kanae Eseo because she is already a TV personality of the club.

BRAINSTORMING / PLANNING SESSION. Planning of our entry goes smooththly together with our first entry team, the team 7 lakes because we on only have the same coach and the same moderator in the name of Sir Leandro Bondad. Executive Boards of the said club have daily meeting as part of the brain storming. Instructions are given to every team leaders (writing, speaking and editing) to be disseminated to every member of the group. Indoor and outdoor schedules were made ahead of time which include data gathering, interviews, video shoots and editing.

DATA GATHERING. Some written information in this case were provided by the City Tourism Coordinator and the (PCA) Philippine Coconut Authority (history, statistics and the like). Each place has an assigned member to do the data gathering. And then pass those data to the team leaders for application in the project.

PERSONAL INTERVIEWS. Assigned persons are ready with the needed materials and equipment for the scheduled interview with the city tourism officers, historians and the like. The students constructed their own questions as their training and came on the said schedule just right on time. Interviews for our first entry Doon Po Sa Amin Pito ang Lawa and for this entry were done at the same time since we work for one coach and moderator and for the time of   persons needed to be interviewed not be wasted.

Nervously excited, our representatives do the moves for the personal interview.

ACTUAL VIDEO SHOOTING/BLOG SITE DESIGN. The team leader for audio and video editing braced himself for an extra challenge of video shoot and later on editing of the entry. Ron Aldrin Dungo (team leader) was assisted by the KCA Media Station Adviser (Sir Leandro Bondad) for the blog site and video entries polishing. Since the students are new in this field, Sir Leandro Bondad took the initiative of conducting lectures, trainings and meetings to the members of the group.

Precious Moments during shooting days.

AUDIO /VIDEO EDITING AND WRITE - UPS. Most of the editing like in our first entry were teamed up and finished by the team leader and adviser. They used the club equipment and known softwares to make the blog designs and documentary videos more realistic and natural. Sir Andrew Bondad pressured everyone to use their brilliant minds especially in writing their scripts for the documentary. This time we got hard time writing the scripts because our entry is somehow needs more interesting words being a demo video.
